Test day at my karate dojo, where I had to test for the next belt rank.
This test day was when I had to break a board with my fist.
The next year when I broke a board into three pieces by sheer power, showing my progress.
At the start of junior year of high school, I was greeted by a group of teachers to welcome my grand return!
A bonus video of me delivering a speech about Cyberbullying and such from High School that was recorded and uploaded to YouTube as part of the Mikva Soapbox Nation Challenge. I placed 3rd in the rankings of those in my class who were selected to give the speech.
In 2019, Peoria hosted an event known as the Whiskeydaddle Race, and it saw runners marathon through hours of different kinds of runs. I volunteered that day to help my school and to get a few volunteer hours to graduate. Around 0:49, you can see me cameo in the background wearing a black sweatshirt and yellow vest, as I was a volunteer who gave out heat sheets and water to the runners when they crossed the finish line. Nothing special but a fun cameo from yours truly.
I cameo for a little bit in the back of this heated meeting about Quest's Charter renewal.
Cats who sit on my lap at the shelter; the first video of many in this series.
Another lap cat at the shelter finds their place on me.
Lap cats are becoming a major problem in my neck of the woods.
My cat Nicci deciding to co-star in one of my videos, and despite being my brother's cat, she layed on my lap.
A commercial for my fictional company that I made in high school called CTRL, which is a computer parts retailer.
I cameo once again in this video as a quick art piece I drew revolving around me and my time in quarentine at the start of 2020.
In March of 2020, COVID-19 hit, causing everyone to have to work from home. Seeing as I was a senior, this means that my graduation had to be done virtually. My high school posted this livestream for our graduation, and it holds important sentimental value to me because this was the best I had for an actual graduation in 2020. This is mine and my friends' high school graduation. I was given a bronze honor cord for being one of the Top 10 Highest Achieving, and I always want to have a way to see me and my friends graduate, because it leads to now: me working at ICC as a Web Developer. I appear at 17:55 for my walk, 45:39 for my honor cord, and lastly, 59:46 for my bio and final quote that I actually did myself. 1:11:06 is the tassle turn, and from there on, it's the walk for the last time. I hope you enjoyed seeing my history and progression! Apologies for the low-quality, as it was done primarily on ZOOM. I just wanted to archive these here to remind myself of how I got here, and to see how I've progressed. Happy hunting! - Dillon K.
This video is a comprehnsive collection of significant moments in my life to reacp my story for those interested. It can be found on some other pages, but here is a quick link for convenience.
